Building on the proven success of our HD Mud Boot, the HD Thermal Boot delivers serious warmth for sub-zero temperatures and extreme conditions. Rated to -50F, this is the warmest boot KUIU has ever produced.
Its multi-layer hybrid insulation system combines Solarcore? aerogel foam around the foot and a lofty synthetic insulation topped with a heat-reflective layer??all housed within a 6 mm neoprene waterproof bootie.
A vulcanized rubber overlay and EVA sole add durability, while anti-slip central lugs deliver reliable traction on ice. The patent-pending tread uses optimally shaped and spaced lugs that shed mud and snow so the boot stays light.
Inside, a premium grid-fleece lining boosts warmth, comfort, and air circulation while speeding dry time. The contoured, removable Solarcore? insole with wool lining provides comfort for long days in the field.
The flexible upper paired with a ? shank strikes the ideal balance of mobility and support. An optimized ankle fit minimizes heel lift, giving you a locked-in platform for moving through deep snow.
Practical details include durable woven pull loops that make the boots easy to pull on and let you fold the uppers down for faster air-out, plus an integrated kick-off tab on the heel for quick removal.
